TERMS OF SERVICE

These terms apply to purchases made from Actionwords Publishing via actionwords.co.uk. Please read them before placing an order. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

WHO WE ARE

Actionwords Publishing is a sole trader business based in the United Kingdom. You can contact us at orders@actionwords.co.uk.

OUR PRODUCTS

We sell physical resource books, posters, and printed materials, as well as digital downloads (PDFs) covering the same educational content. Product descriptions and prices are shown on our website at the time of your order. We take reasonable care to ensure descriptions and prices are accurate, but errors can occasionally occur — if we discover a pricing error after you've ordered, we will contact you before proceeding.

Prices include no VAT, as we are not currently VAT registered.

PLACING AN ORDER

When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy, which we are free to accept or decline. Your order is confirmed once you receive an order confirmation email from us.

We only accept orders from customers based in the United Kingdom. We reserve the right to cancel any order placed from outside the UK, and digital downloads are licensed for use within the UK only.

PAYMENT

Payment is taken in full at the time of ordering, by card or PayPal, processed securely through our payment providers, Stripe and PayPal. We do not see or store your full card details.

DELIVERY — PHYSICAL PRODUCTS

We aim to dispatch physical orders promptly, though delivery times may vary. Shipping costs, where applicable, are shown at checkout before you complete your order. Risk in the goods passes to you once delivered.

DELIVERY — DIGITAL DOWNLOADS

Digital products are made available for download as soon as your payment is confirmed. You will also receive a confirmation email. Please see our Return Policy for important information about your right to cancel a digital purchase.

YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL

As a consumer, you have certain legal rights to cancel your order, which differ depending on whether you've bought a physical or digital product. Full details are set out in our Return Policy, which forms part of these terms.

OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO YOU

We warrant that our products will be of satisfactory quality and as described. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

We are not liable for losses that were not a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms, or for any loss of income, business, or data. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content, images, and materials on this website and in our products remain the property of Actionwords Publishing. You may use purchased materials for personal or professional educational use (such as classroom teaching), but may not resell, redistribute, or share them beyond this use without our written permission.

EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL

We won't be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, such as extreme weather, industrial action, or failures of postal or delivery services.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that applied at the time you placed your order will be the ones that apply to that order.

GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
