Statements and questions

The flashcards are the starting point for teaching the Action Words high frequency words.

A flashcard has a word, image and an explanation of the action. Each explanation is a prompt for using the word in context and developing vocabulary.

We want you to have as much fun as possible as you introduce the children to 5 words each week.

Talking about the character and thinking about the questions and statements the characters make is another way to bring the words to life and add deeper meaning.
